Richard B. Texler Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Rockland County educator, Richard B. Texler, to honor students enrolled in purposeful and socially useful programs of study.
Criteria: Must be a continuing adult student, 25 years or older, making a career change to the field of education. Must demonstrate an interest in teaching math or science. Personal essay must describe the applicant’s desire to enter the teaching profession and what inspired them to do so. Minimum GPA: 3.0.
